About Fish Itch
Fish Itch gives a simple, exciting way to buy environmentally responsible fishing tackle at low prices while helping fund stewardship education programs.
Fish Itch subscribers ("Fish Itchers") receive an e-mail with a very good deal (normally 50% off or more) on a product such as a fishing lure, accessory, or apparel. Through an easy online transaction, Fish Itchers get the deal, and the product is shipped directly to their doorstep. Limited quantities of each product mean that Fish Itchers have to act fast, but a status bar lets everyone know how many are still available, and how much has been raised for conservation.
Fish Itch is not a company who sells products to the fishing community, we are the fishing community. Our products and practices reflect the values of passionate anglers who are dedicated to preserving the legacy of fishing and the outdoors.
So, who are we?
Teeg Stouffer is the founder and Executive Director of Recycled Fish, a national 501(c)3 non-profit organization that engages, educates and equips anglers to be good stewards of our waters. A portion of Fish Itch proceeds are donated to Recycled Fish.
Micah Carrick is founder and President of Green Tackle, an online retailer specializing in environmentally friendly fishing tackle. Many Fish Itch products are available for purchase everyday at Green Tackle.
Aaron Scott is a freelance photographer and designer based in Springfield, Mo. The images and words on Fish Itch are his doing... and doing pretty good if we say so ourselves.
