Our Commitment to Conservation

Our commitment to conservation runs as deep as the waters we fish. Well, it runs even deeper than some of the waters we fish, because sometimes we are fishing in pretty shallow waters, like trout streams. Our commitment to conservation runs as deep as if we were fishing offshore, in the ocean. How's that?

In all seriousness, we're not just out to make a buck. Fish Itch is all about taking care of our waters, and they need our help. In the United States, 49% of fresh water is so polluted that it's not safe for drinking or swimming, and it can't support a healthy fishery. That has to change.

We give a percentage of every sale to Recycled Fish, the non-profit organization of anglers living a lifestyle of stewardship both on and off the water because our lifestyle runs downstream. We are stewards – we will minimize waste in our business every day, in every way. We'll be printing on post-consumer recycled and FSC certified paper; reducing, reusing and recycling everything we can, and of course – raising money to help our waters through education projects. How much we give is no secret. Every time you buy a deal, you'll see how much goes to help our waters. Once a deal has run, we'll say exactly how much we gave.

Finally, each deal will come with a Stewardship Tip so that you'll learn along the way about how you can help our waters through everyday living. After all, like they say at Recycled Fish, we're not just sportsmen, We Are Stewards.
