I did not suffer any financial loss per se but I definitely stopped (finally) searching for jobs but that has only been 2 days.
I had no monetary investment other than the normal traveling to interview, the time, etc just like any other interview.
That email I posted was from the current office manager who I was going to owner obviously made her send it instead of himself calling or emailing me.
The office manager and I have been in most of the time since the interview and constant emails back and forth since I got hired on Monday (up to 4-5 emails a day).
I had some questions since I was hired and owner told me to contact the office manager which I did via email and her first email reply started with 'Congratulations!'.Other than the offer on the phone from owner just yesterday that is all I have. I don't have anything in writing (contract, etc).I assumed that would be done tomorrow when I arrived for work 'if' a contract was even part of their procedure/policy along with all of the other normal 'new hire' paperwork. (Approx. 15-20 employees)
The only losses that I have/will encounter per se is that I am totally devastated (feel like the wind is knocked out of me), starting back at square one again job searching and of course I was planning ahead knowing that income would finally start coming in so I spent some of the money I had left for things to prepare or begin working there and also paid up some bills earlier than I could have.
But unfortunately none of that matters to anyone else nor does it justify any type (or hope) for any kind of compensation or not enough anyway to fight for.
